Pop Rock and Drop It

Pop rocks were all the rage in the 1990s. In all honesty, they were probably the best tiny little rock candies every created by the round man. “Eating” pop rocks was always a fun and interesting experience. I mean a candy fizzling like a diet coke, how odd is that. So I am taking my love of these interesting tiny candies into the classroom. I am going to attempt to use pop rocks to attempt to teach little second graders about the continents of the world. In case you did not know, Pop Rocks were made in Spain and Spain is in the continent of Europe. Just a little fun fact of the day I thought I would share. Also, in the name of teaching the continents I will run by World Market to get a new fall scarf.

While I was collecting my “goods” today to teach the continents, I learned a lot about the world that I did not know before. I do not know if that is good or bad since I’m supposed to be the teacher one day, hopefully soon. Of course in the middle of gathering my supplies the bottom fell out of the sky. Word on the street is that there is a cold front coming through town. I’m glad there is a cold front coming through because the humidity is horrible. My hair simply will not lay flat at this point in time. Anyhow, so I am going to teach the continents and use Pop Rocks to do so. Oh, and I'm going to use a fun little song from the Animaniacs. If it were not for those little guys I would not know all of the states and their capitals.

This song is permanently engraved in my mind now.

I found a plethora of Pop Rocks at World Market. World Market certainly has some interesting treats to buy.

So. Many. Accessories. I simply cannot choose. I wish my wallet was not so flat like me. I want one of everything.
